Basic website creation is the setup and design of a new website on either a new or existing server. We recommend using www.1and1.com to setup new server hosting, due to their reliability, customer support, and customization options, as well as good value. We do NOT have business ties with 1and1.com, but rather choose to use them through experience and knowledge of premium hosting. Clients are free to use any hosting they wish, as long as they provide us with the proper access information to setup their website. We recommend hosting that includes FTP, and Frontpage® access, along with Microsoft Frontpage 2000®, or 2002 server extensions to enable the wide range of features such as mail forms, themes, page banners, and counters that frontpage provides. The server should normally run on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server® platform.
Basic Websites include up to 5 pages of content, excluding page add-ons mentioned later, such as mail forms, which are available for additional charge. A basic website typically includes a Home page with logo, main menu, and site description. the other pages include company details, contact information, or other basic page you may require. This type of site is typically designed with Microsoft Frontpage®.
